It’s difficult to describe why I love Dollhouse. Ray has described their story as “A comic about a girl, a band, and the terrible decisions they make”. And they’re right – a group of people play and love music, mess up, and have to deal with consequences. But there’s a lot more to it than a typical Rom Com or Bad Soap Opera like that. Longrunning plots and developing characters are our jam – but sometimes you just need a hillarious gag-a-page comic that you can just pick up whenever and enjoy. Coelasquid’s Manly Guys Doing Manly Things is probably one of the more known comics we’re gonna recommend here, but only because it’s consistantly laugh-out-loud funny, and on-point in it’s criticisms of video game & film characters, and hyper-masculinity.
